The band founded 1970 in USA was influenced by the ROLLING STONES and bands like LED ZEPPELIN.
Signed by Columbia they released a 1st LP in 1973 - with the album TOYS IN THE ATTIC they hit the US
top 20 in 1975...after the release of their great LIVE! - BOOTLEG! album in 1979 it became quieter around
the band and 1980 JOE PERRY and WHITFORD the two original guitar players left the group.
In 1984 the original Lineup reformed, they backed the Rapper RUN DMC on his cover version from
their hit WALK THIS WAY... this took them back into the public eyes and in the charts from the mid 80s
onwards.
