Demis Roussos was a member of Greek Progressive band APHRODITES CHILD between 1968 and 1972.
A first  uncommercial (Popsike) Solo album was recorded when he was still with the band in 1971.
From 1972 he started a successful solo carreer, toped by a number 1 song in the German charts
of 1973 with Goodbye my Love Goodbye. Most of his releases are very commercial Schlager.
