Godley played in the mid 60s with G.Gouldman group The MOCKINGBIRDS, before releasing some tracks with Creme on
the MARMALADE label, by end of the 60s.
Shorty after they founded together with  Eric Stewart  (with Guest: G.GOULDMAN) the HOTLEGS
(remember  NEANDERTHAL MAN), 3 singles and two LPs later they became the immense successful 10CC.
They split from 10cc  in 1979 to form the  great Pop-Duo  (they had experimentated already  in 1977 with their invention the
GIZMO-Guitar on DLP: CONSEQUENCES). In 1985 they won a price for the Video to the Song : CRY
