Founded in 1972 by ex-HEP STARS Benny, ex-HOOTENANNY SINGERS Bjoern, who
had released an album as Duo BJOERN & BENNY in 1970 together with their singing
Girls Agnetha  (some solo Lps since 1968) and Anni-Frid (some singles & 1LP in 1971).
First singles releases under their pre-names - shortened to ABBA somewhere in 1974.
Successful in sweden since 1973 - Germany and UK followed in late 1974 and worldwide
big success came in 1976. They stopped in 1982 - Bjoern is now back into Folk - Frida
had some success working with Phil Collins.
