Formed out of the ashes from Mercury recording artists The SMILE = B.May; R.Taylor & Timm Staffell, the band only released
one 45 in 1969 in the USA & in 1982 an Japan only Mini-LP with 6 Titles.
Freddy Mercury (Farrokh Bulsara) became involved through Staffel. In 1970 or 1971 they changed name to QUEEN adding
a new bass player in 1971.
The band was active till the death of Freddy Mercury in 1991.
The early 3 albums till 1974 are more progressive Heavy-Metal , then the band became more Poprock and song orientated,
and very successful too.
Best time between 1973 to 1977, special sound through Brian May's selfbuilt guitar.
Freddy Mercury released 1 Single under the name LARRY LUREX in 1973 on EMI.
Queen reformed around 2005/6 with PAUL RODGERS (ex-Free; Bad Co.) on vocals.
