Born in US country Georgia, he started heavily influenced by LITTLE RICHARD, a singing
career in the early 60s.
With his uptempo singing style, he soon became a cult figure, toped by his appearance at
the MONTEREY Festival.
He tragicaly died in a airplane crash on Dec. 1967.
The posthum released song 'Sittin On The Dock Of The Bay' became his biggest success.
