The Singer- Songwriter - Harmonica Player grew up in a musicians family, influenced by folk & Blues.
He worked with folkie FRED NEIL in the early 60s and with the EVEN DOZEN JUG BAND (1963-64),
before he became a founder member of the great and underrated Jugband the LOVIN SPOONFUL
in 1965 till he quit in 1968.
His first solo album recorded in 1970 was released on two  labels MGM and REPRISE,
with different covers.
5 LPs got released from 1969 till 1976, including one Live album. With WELCOME BACK he had
a last big hit in 1976. Since this time he mainly did sessions.
