Great Soul & Blues Shouter,  who started together with JIMMY WINSTON  (Small Faces)
JOHN WEIDER  (pre-J.Kidd, Animals, Stud, Moonrider etc.),   & KENNY ROWE  (Capability Brown)
the band MOMENTS, which had only one 45 release in the USA with YOU REALLY GOT ME in 1964.
In mid 1965 he was a founder member of the well known SMALL FACES, leaving them in early 69 to
form ,together with PETER FRAMPTON one of the first Super-Groups HUMBLE PIE who split in 1975.
Next came a reformed  SMALL FACES touring and releasing 2 further LPs till 1978.
In this time he released his 1st solo LP MARRIOTT on A&M too.
A new reformed HUMBLE PIE  in 1980 was only a shade of former fame.
From 1984 on he toured regulary with his bands MARRIOTTs ALL STARS or PACKET OF THREE,
always great Live but without success, till his tragic dead in 1991.
