BILL HALEY (W.John) 1925-1981 played country & country swing in the late 40s, around 1951 he recorded
a R&B Hit with ROCKET 88. In 1953 he formed his backing group The COMETS, with CRAZY MAN CRAZY
& ROCK AROUND THE CLOCK they started Rock N Roll.
The COMETS with many different lineups are active over the millenium.
