Mal (Ryder) started with his band The SPIRITS in 1963 which lasted after 4 singles  till 1965, when he recorded his first
45  as MAL & The PRIMITIVES, till 1965 they also recorded two further singles under the PRIMITIVES on Pye.
Since end of 64'  they sounded raw like The Pretty Things.
In 1966 the band emigrated to Italy, and got to be a great attraction at the PIPER CLUB in Rome, till 1966 and 1967 they
recorded for the club's own label some singles in italian language and one super rare album.
Mal got a very successful pop singer on the RCA label in Italy at end 0f the 60s and early 70s, he later on shocked
me with german language SCHLAGER on RCA.   What a Way...but you have to earn money.
