In the mid sixties the band played soulish R&B not unlike Zoot Money, by 1967
they got to psychedelic and around 1969 to progressive Sounds.
OUTWARD BOWN on Music Factory a great Popsike LP & The Alan Bown on
Deram and a half Live on Pye + ten 45s was the bands output in the 60s.
Two Prog LPs on Island followed in 70 and 71.
A.Bown after his short stint with JONESY (elected best Jazzrock Montreaux in 1973)
changed into Producing & label managment at CBS UK.
One single (Moanin) on CBS was released in the early 70s too.
Jess Roden one of the best voices in the UK didnt get the success he deserved only
Palmer went successful in the 80s & 90s till his death.
Helliwell got on very successful too with SUPERTRAMP
