His first band the fantasic R&B (Freak-Beat) band CHEYNES including Mick Fleetwood and
Phil Sawyer released 3 singles on COLUMBIA from 1963 to 1965.
He then joined VAN MORRISONs THEM, after that he was with SHOTGUN EXPRESS together
with PETER GREEN and ROD STEWART.
With his own PETER Bs & VILLAGE he recorded one single under each name..very rare today.
From 1969 till 1972 he released two great solo LPs for TRANSATLANTIC Records.
In 1972 he became founder member of the successful Prog-Rocker CAMEL.
