1999 Compilation
Born in Scotland Gerry joined his first band THE HUMBLEBUMS (with Billy Connolly) in 1968 recording with them 2LPs,
on the same label TRANSATLANTIC his first Solo album came to the day in 1971.
After this he formed together with JOE EGAN new band STAELER's WHEEL , which recorded 3 albums and had one
top ten hit with "Stuck in the Middle.." and 2 further singles in the Top 40.
In 1977-78 his successful solo career began with the unforgetable "Baker Street" in the top 5 UK and USA.
