Mike Roger  (1930-1984)
German Singer, who played at the US Armee Clubs in his bavarian homeland - Country and Rockn Roll
for the GIs.  In the early 60s when songs for hip dances like twist and madison reached highest position
in the charts; he became the german master of the Slop with top 10 hits like LETs SLOP or his cult
song : SCHWARZE WOLKE  (a cover of Chubby Checkers - Black Cloud).

Mike Roger  (1930-1984) wurde im Raum Nuernberg als Hermann Gloeckler geboren.
Bereits in den 50er Jahren spielte er fuer die in Deutschland stationierten US Soldaten, in deren
bayrischen Clubs Country- und Rock N Roll Hits ihrer Heimat.
In den fruehen 60ern wurde er durch seine Songs zum Modetanz SLOP sehr erfolgreich.
Mit LETs SLOP erreichte er die deutschen Top 10 und mit Schwarze Wolke gelang ihm ein gesuchter
Kult - Song. (Der in den fruehen 80ern vom Augsburger Record Club als Single wiederveroeffentlicht wurde)
