Dalla born 1943 in Italy started as clarinett player in trad. Dixie Bands in the early 60s.
In 1966 when he released his first solo album, he was more into soulish singing and songwriting.
A 2nd solo LP followed some years later in 1969, he was successful through the 70s in Italy, by
1979 and in the early 80s he had breakthrough on the German and other European markets.
