Born in South Africa, he is active since the early 60s playing a mix out of traditional African Music
with Jazz , Rock  and Avant-Garde. He emigrated to Great Britain in the mid 60s recording one
album as CHRIS McGREGOR GROUP and two even more experimental LPs with his band
BROTHERHOOD OF BREATH ..for NEON and  RCA.
He left the UK to live in south of France in the 70s and in the follow released some solo albums.
