After working as a Duo with his sister called JOHN & JUDY (releasing singles in
the late 50s & early 60s), SCOTT ENGEL  & JOHN WALKER (Maus) founded the
DALTON BROTHERS in the early 60s, with GARY LEEDS  (formerly of the STANDELLS)
joining (1965), they became  the WALKER BROTHERS.
In 1965 when the band became successful mainly in Europe with 8 to 10  (dont know exactly )
top 20 hits, they got located in Great Britain.
With their driving harmonie vocals they gave rejoiced concerts in Europe and Japan , backed
sometimes by musicians from the IVEYS (Badfinger).
JOHN (MAUS) WALKER :
After 3 LPs on Philips in the UK and Star Club in Germany, they split in  early  1968.
JOHN had a small top 30 hit with his single ANNABELLE  (written together with Graham Nash).
After a 1st LP with great Pop-Ballads on Philips, a 2nd album in same vain on Carnaby followed
in 1969, all two LPs went nowhere. JOHN MAUS went back to the States.
He was with the re-united WALKER BROTHERS again from 1975 till 1984.
JOHN WALKER toured and recorded till his death in May 2011 and had even an own label.
