This formation was built by songwriter and production team JERRY GOLDSTEIN ,
RICHARD GOTTEHRER and BOB FELDMAN backed by some session musicians.
They were active between 1965 and 1967 releasing one album on BANG Records.
The first single I want Candy reached the US Top 20 , followed by Cara-Lin & Night Time
(these singles only reached the top 40). All songs had some hypnotic Bo Diddley like rhythms.
A special touring band was put together.
I WANT CANDY covered by: Brian Poole & The Tremeloes; Johnny Young + Kompany
or Bow Wow Wow ..to name a few.
Around 1970 they tried a new synthetic studio group named : The STRANGE BROS. SHOW.
GOLDSTEIN & GOTTEHRER went back into production and get famous with WAR , BLONDIE ;
RICHARD HELL or CIRCLE JERKS & with some Soundtracks too.
