Started around 1962 in USA under the name The GYPSIES a girl group , in 1966 after some 45 releases, they
changed name to the FLIRTATIONS.
In late 68 they left USA to work some time in UK, they signed a label deal with Deram and recorded with producer
Wayne Bickerton, who together with his former partner (in bands from Lee Curtis or Pete Best) Tom Waddington -
wrote most of their songs.
NOTHING BUT A HEARTACHE reached the US Top 30 and is now a Northern Soul Classic.
Back in USA they released some more stuff with different labels , but without bigger success.
