Very rare Beat LP in this condition
Out of Blackburn's Lionel Morton Four arose The 4 Pennies, which lasted from 1963 till 1966, with 4 top twenty
chart entries.
Their sound was best Merseybeat many ballads some with a folk feeling to it.In 1966 they split because the sound ran out
of fashion. Morton changed to TV and Fritz Fryer followed with the group FRITZ, MIKE & MO which only released two 45s.
He later got into production best known for his work with JASON CREST ; MOTORHEAD ; SMILE (pre-Queen);
HORSLIPS or STACKRIDGE to name a few.
