The first album for the band was released in UK as a single album and a double in USA, its now
the group rarest !!
Formed out of the ashes from POET & THE ONE MAN BAND (1LP on Verve) in 1970.
Till split in 1973 they recorded 3 LPs all mainly country influenced Rock.
Tony Colton was active as songwriter since the early 60s, and released some great R&B, Soul
influenced solo singles inluding the outstanding:I STAND ACCUSED, later recorded by the MERSEYBEATS.
He worked as sessionplayer and wrote the lonely hit for the: ZOOT MONEYs BIG ROLL BAND
with Big Time Operator.
Albert Lee one of the best guitar players coming from the UK, he played a long time with
CHRIS FARLOWEs THUNDERBIRDS.
After that he went into the united states recording solo and working with EMMYLOU HARRIS ;
ERIC CLAPTON and many country acts. Today he is back in Europe solo and with Bill Wyman.
