MIKE  first became a member of  KEVIN AYERS WHOLE WORLD he was
on the 2nd and 3rd LP, before starting solo in 1972.
Kevin & Mike still have friendship together, guesting on each other productions.
Only RICHARD BRANSON, who had a little record shop in Soho trusted in MIKE,
and signed him to his new founded VIRGIN label. The concept LP TUBULAR BELLS
and follow up album HERGEST RIDGE started the money making machine, which
is still going. MIKE did a lot of session for other artists too, like GONG; R.WYATT etc.
