Hoyt Axton (1938-1999) Country- Singer-Songwriter started in the late 50s and is best known for
his composition The PUSHER which charted in a version of The STEPPENWOLF and was used
on the soundtrack of the cult-biker 60s film EASY RIDER.
Joy of the World - became a huge hit for THREE DOG NIGHT.
Other hits are BONEY FINGERS or the co-written GREENBACK DOLLAR (hit by: The KINGSTON TRIO).
Axton did some film acting too
