Rocky Hill (1946-2009) brother of ZZ-TOPs Dusty Hill started together with his
brother and Frank Beard on drums with acid-rock group AMERICAN BLUES.
The exist between 1967 and 1969 and released two LPs - Rocky left , mainly
for playing in backing groups of well known black Blues musicians like :
LIGHTNIN HOPKINS , J.L.HOOKER , JIMMY REED or FREDDIE KING
In the 80s & 90s he recorded 3 Solo albums, by the 1st: TEXAS SHUFFLE (1982)
he was joined by Dr.John and Johnny Winter.
Producer - BILL HAMM was manager and producer of ZZ-TOP between 1969 and 2006,
he also produced POINT BLANK.
