Eddie Kendricks (1939-1992) was an ex founding member (1961) of
the TEMPTATIONS, which he left in 1971.
In the 50s he was active in two Doo Wop groups : The Cavaliers (1955) and
The Primes (1957-61)
With: KEEP ON TRUCKIN he had a Number 1 Hit, followed by a # 2 with
BOOGIE DOWN all in 1974.
HEs A FRIEND OF MINE reached Number 38 in the 1976 US Charts.
