Peter Stampfel & Steve Weber started as Folk-Duo in New York round 1963.
First recordings are done for Prestige Records, they also appeared on the first album
by The FUGS.
From 1967 on they recorded as Band with Hippie influences for ESP; Elektra & Metromedia
and in the Mid 70s are still active for ROUNDER.
The Band had one song on the Soundtrack from Cult-film : EASY RIDER.
Their psychedelic Folkrock is in parts experimental.
Weber & Stampfel where also involved on the 1st LP.
