The FENMEN started as backing group for BRIAN ELLIOTT in 1961, they released two 45s and
one EP (R&B and Beat) on the Decca label, after that ELLIOTT went solo.
The FENMEN recorded 4 further singles (1964 to 1966) on their own, 2 for Decca and 2 for CBS.
All nice harmony beat & surf , in 1967 the band stopped.
Wally Waller & John Povey joined their friends Phil May & Dick Taylor in
the PRETTY THINGS , around time of recording parts of 3rd album EMOTIONS.
Followed by two of their best recordings SF SORROW & PARACHUTE ..Wally
was involved in most of the compositions.
