Formed by Paul Revere & Mark Lindsay as The Downbeats in 1960, soon changing to Paul Revere & The Raiders when
starting with recordings for the Gardena Label in 1961. Most of the early recordings are instrumentals.
After a short stint with Gardena and Jerden they signed to the Columbia label in 1963. First bigger nationwide hits
came in 1965-66 with the song 'Just Like Me' the band had many chart entries till 1971, most of them only in the USA.
In style from the start as instrumental Rockn Roll over Beat  influenced by the British Invasion like KINKS & STONES till
Psych to Pop, even a soul album was released around 1968. Many great songs are still remembered till today, some
