San Diego group already started in the mid 60s..first Iron Butterfly LP was released in 1967, the 2nd was with the
long cult-version of In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida  and was the first album which went platin.
After 3 LPs only  Ron Bushy & Lee Dorman staied with Pinera & Rhino cutting Live & Metamorphosis before split.
First Re-Union in 1975
