Formed around 1960 out of the PRIMES & the DISTANTS, with MY GIRL they had a
first No. 1 in the US Charts.
At this time more in soul-ballads they changed around 1968 and went more into
heavy-psychedelic,always based on soul and funk.
Eddie Kendricks died in 1992, and Otis Williams kept the band going.
