Keef Hartley started professional in the early 60s with RORY STORM & THE HURRICANS replacing Ringo, before he
moved to the great ARTWOODS (with JOHN LORD) .After the split he worked for JOHN MAYALL before starting his own
band in 68..which even played at the WOODSTOCK Festival.
The group played hard Chicago influenced Bluesrock tending to Jazz. Most of the songs on the first 4 LPs are written
from MILLER ANDERSON (see-The Voice; Hemlock; Dog Soldier, Dukes, now with Spencer Davis)(great musician)
Keef Hartley later played on many Michael Chapman Albums
The first 5 LPs are highly recommended.
