Release 2014
He left his first band TRIDENTS, to replace ERIC CLAPTON in the YARDBIRDS around 1965.
In between the 1967 YARDBIRDS US tour , he quit .
In the same year he put together The JEFF BECK GROUP with great shouter ROD STEWART,
his 1st single charted in the UK top  20 HI HO SILVER LINING. With the 1st LP(released in
in 1968), he produced one of the best and earliest bluesy Hardrock albums... a must have.
The follow up was near as good.
In the mid 70s he was at home in the jazz-fusion field.
For me he is on a level with JIMI HENDRIX...till today he experiments with sounds.
