Little brother of Arthur Wood singer of the ARTWOODS  (incl. John Lord ), who started with  The BIRDS , a great
R&B - Freakbeat group in 1964-66 followed by a short  membership in the CREATION replacing Eddie Phillips.
After that he became bass player of the fantastic JEFF BECK GROUP  incl. Rod Stewart on vocals for 2LPs,
Next the FACES as guitar player, again together with ROD, that  band was stopped by the Solo success
of Rod Stewart and RON went on to the STONES.
He also worked often with his former heroes like Bo Diddley , Chuck Berry oder Jerry Lee Lewis.
He is a good art painter too.
