SULA BASSANA this bird is the brainchild of DAVE SCHMIDT a Berlin born multiinstrumetalist,
at home since mid of the 80s in the German electronic, psychedelic, space krautrock scene.
He started with the electronic Duo SOLARIS, before he joined LIQUID VISIONS as bass player.
As a member of psychedelic Jam-Rockers ZONE SIX he was involved in 5 album releases till
late 2002 or early 2003.
1998 was the starting point of his studio solo project with the name SULA BASSANA,
here he brings together mostly instrumental sounds from psychedelic, electronic , ambient ,
trance, chillout and space elements to a great whole.
Big influences maybe early Hawkwind and Pink Floyd.
He finds time for band projects like ELECTRIC MOON too, and build up his own label.
