INGA RUMPF one of the best german voices started in the mid 60s with the folk-blues-group The CITY PREACHERS,
Dagmar Krause (Art Bears) was also a member.
She recorded a very rare avantgarde rock album under the name ID COMPANY with DAGMAR KRAUSE  for the
HOER ZU (Black Label) in 1970, around the same time  FRUMPY was founded , together with great
french keyboarder Jean-Jacques Kravetz & K,.H.Schott., who where  in  The CITY PREACHER too.
After three very good studio LPs and one double Live album the band split, only  to become ATLANTIS
shortly after.
ATLANTIS tended a little bit more to mainstream Hardrock.
In 1989 FRUMPY was  reformed for a further 3 LPs (this time CDs)
A first solo album was released on Philips named : SECOND HAND MAEDCHEN sung in German
language, the follow up LP releases for RCA in 1977 and 1979 are in english again, this time

In the 80s she recorded for the Plaene label, with German  lyrics (by: Niko Mueller)
