R.L.Burnside (1926-2005) , did his first recordings (he wis his acoustic guitar) not before 1967 and only some of them
got a release at time on Arhoolie Records.
Other recordings between 1969 and 1975 saw no release.
In 1980 french label VOGUE released the album SOUND MACHINE GROOVE  followed by 2 further records on Swingmasters.
Since 1991 he is signed by Fat Possum Records.
