Al Green born 1946 founded his first band in his school days, named AL GREEN & The SOUL MATES, which
had an R&B Hit with BACK UP TRAIN in 1968.
In 1969 he signed by Hi-Records - already with TIRED OF BEING ALONE from his 2nd album he had a huge
Hit (# 11 in USA & # 4 in UK) , followed by more chart entries till 1974, when it became quieter.
In the 80s he changed more to Gospel.
