His first band the MAJESTICS changed name to the RATS in 1964, only some 45s saw the light
of the day in the 60s, one single was released in USA too.
By end of the 60s he joined DAVID BOWIE backing band together with other RATS member WOODY on drums.
In 1974 he joined MOTT THE HOOPLE when band split, he and IAN HUNTER formed a Duo, which was
active till his dead.  Inbetween he played mith LOU REED and BOB DYLAN and produced 3 solo albums.
ONLY AFTER DARK became a big hit for the HUMAN LEAGUE.
