Re-Release 2012  -  Mojo Magazine special release Lost Classic from 1980

With his first band The SPADES he reached the national texas charts in first half of 1965, after two 45s
the band split and ROKY became a founder member of the 13TH FLOOR ELEVATORS, who released
4 LPs till they split. With the 1st and 2nd album they became the innovaders of the psychedelic Scene
in the Rock History. At time of recording the last LP : BULL OF THE WOODS - ROKY had legal problems,
through his drug consum and became mental ill too, so he only was partly involved in the LP productions.
In 1972 he got his psychiatric hospital dismissal, so he could start with new band BLEIB ALIEN in 1974.
This time a little bit more into hardrock, but still with some psychedlic elements. In 1979 he changed
the lineup and the band name to The ALIENS. In the 70s he had some prominent help in producing,
1st through DOUG SAHM and short time later through ex-CCR  STU COOK.
With mental health problems again, he was out of business from early 80s till 1995.
In 2010 he released a new studio album, after 14 years of silence.
