One of the real great; but shamley overlooked, Blues-Soul shouters UK had to offer in
the 60s and 70s. !!!For me the better Cocker!!!
He started as a member of the ALAN BOWN SET in 1968 and 1969, after he left the band,
he was a founder member of the Westcoast, Countryrock influenced BRONCO, releasing
three LPs (2 on Island and 1 on Polydor).
He emigrated to the USA , where he joined Robbie Krieger & John Densmore from the
DOORS in the BUTTS BAND, it lasted for 2 LPs in 1974 and 1975.
Inbetween he started his solo career, with a first LP produced by the legendary Allen Toussaint.
From 1974 to 1980 he recorded 6 albums without bigger success.
In 1980 he dried to find a new sound in direction Punk-Wave with the RIVITS, after 1LP he quit
for some years the music business... but came back in the 90s.
