They played at Munichs PN Club as The JOINT  (progressive Hendrix influenced Rock).
when meeting a dutch Millionaire - who as fan and friend helped with a lot of money to
promote the band in Europe.
At this time (1969-1972) you could see whole London house walls painted with SUPERTRAMP advertisements.
With 3rd lineup and 3rd album they became steady successful in the whole world.
HODGSON left in 1983, the band without him released two further studio LPs and a Live album,
before they split in 1988.
Richard Palmer of the first lineup, who lives in Germany near Munich wrote lyrics for
KING CRIMSON  and some aother acts too, he played guitar with the band MUNICH
in 70s till the 90s.
