Great progressive Rock formed in 1967 first single in 1968 followed by 1st album in 1969.
After the Polydor 45 the group split, but was reformed soon after , a 2nd longer break came in early 1972.
Hammill goes solo, but was accompanied on many LPs by former member of the band.
At the same time the other members worked as the LONG HELLO releasing private pressed LP , but got
releases in Italy, where they had a bigger following.
Hammill re-united the band including some new members in 1975, but after 3 albums they fall apart again.
Since 2005 they record and tour together again - Dave Jackson left in 2007/08
