Band started under the name CLIMAX CHICAGO BLUES BAND in 1968 signed by
Parlophone (EMI), changed to EMI progressive label HARVEST in 1970.
Changed name between CLIMAX CHICAGO & CLIMAX BLUES BAND between 1971 & 1972.
First two LPs UK Bluesrock - from 1970 to 1972 best and most recommended time.
Great fluent sound , in the mid 70s get more into US sounding mainstream.
Around 1982 only COOPER & HAYCOCK are left from the old members split in 1983.
