The EASY BEATS did a last tour of Australia in summer of 69 and called it a day, they went separate ways.
Stevie Wright solo  and with new backinggroup "The RACHETTE" and George Young and Harry Vanda first went
back to the UK working as songwriters, session- musicians & producers.
Recordings as "Band of Hope"; "Tramp"; "Paintbox"; "Moondance" ; "HAFFEY WHISKEY SOUR" (on Deram) and produced
by the Pretty Thing' s  Wally Allen (Waller)  4 tracks under the name   "MARCUS HOOK ROLL BAND"  released on Regal Zonophone and BASF. This all took place between 1970 till 1973, then Vanda and Young went back to Australia.

had already started with George's  help the now well known Rockers  "AC/DC".

After this project Vanda and Young formed the successful FLASH & THE PAN, which lasted from 1976 till around 1993.
