In 1960 he joined The CHAMPS after the hit "Tequila" ,  he split from them in 1962.
He did a lot of session guitar work for Dale Hawkins;  Frank Sinatra; Elvis Presley,
Nat King Cole, Righteous Brothers,  Monkees, Rick Nelson, Beach Boys and many more.
First own album was with his Bluegrass band The GREEN RIVER BOYS  feat. Glen.
