Dave Edmunds started his recording career with the group THE HUMAN BEANS they recorded only one 45 (Morning Dew)
Next came LOVE SCULPTURE who tried to connect Rock, Blues and Classic with success shown in Hit SABRE DANCE
an reworked classical composition from KHATCHATURIAN. Edmunds became a famous guitar hero with this.
Love Sculpture released two LP's from 1968 to 69. After the split Dave Edmunds went solo with a sound who pays tribute
to his Rock & Roll, Rockabilly heroes like Duane Eddy, Smiley Lewis, Fats Domino etc.
His interpretation from I HEAR YOU KNOCKING charted again, he followed this sound till today.
The next Band ROCKPILE , only released one LP out of contract-problems with some Record Labels..other members from this long touring Band are NICK LOWE, BILLY BREMNER and TERRY WILLIAMS.
