Champion  (was  profi boxer in 30s & 40s) Jack Dupree born 1910 in New Orleans died in 1992.
He started recording in 1940 and worked sometimes with BROWNIE McGHEE, in the mid 60s
he emigrated to England and stayed from the late 70s till his dead in Germany.
