TROWER, ROBIN
[Go My Way (1999-2000)]

TROWER, ROBIN

Release 2000
Started schoolband The PARAMOUNTS together with Gary Brooker in the late 50s, in 1963 they went professional
releasing 1 EP and 6 singles till 1965, all good R&B 60s examples. In 1967 they became PROCOL HARUM,
after the 5th album BROKEN BARRICADES (which was more guitar fronted) he left the band to go solo.
First with a new band JUDE including FRANKIE MILLER, which went nowhere after this intermezzo he recorded under his
own name till today. Sometimes inbetween with JACK BRUCE as BLT. In the 90s he was involved for a very short time
in a PROCOL HARUM Re-Union playing on 1 LP, but leaving shortly after the recordings.
His guitar playing is very HENDRIX influenced and very recommended.
