They started under the name The PRIMETTES in 1960 split and reformed as the SUPREMES in 1962.
They first hit the charts by end of 1963, in their most successful time from 1964 to 1969 you find them
permanent in the top ten. The worked since the early 60s sometimes backing the TEMPTATIONS.
In early 1970 DIANA ROSS split to solo, she was replaced by JEAN TERRELL to be replaced again by
Scherrie Payne. The original band lasted till 1977.
