Was a founder member of the CHARLATANS  (US), the band who did start the psychdelic Scene on the West Coast,
with their legendary concert at the RED DOG SALOON around 1963 to 1964.
But only a 45 saw the light of the day in 1965  (The Shadow knows), the lonely album
they produced saw a very late release in 1969..when the psychedelic scene was over the high.
Some tracks they recorded for Kama Sutra in th mid 60s were not published before the late 70s.
Wilhelm founded new group named LOOSE GRAVEL which lasted from 1969 to 1976, again
only singles or 12inch maxis got a release  (in Europe too).
After that he recorded his first solo album for United Artists, to my knowledge only released
through the ZIG ZAG Magazine in the UK. He then joined cult band The FLAMING GROOVIES,
he was a member from 1976 till 1982 and can be heared on the SIRE /Philips LPs.
He again went solo and  releases came sporatic in different countries and  on different labels.
